I understand the guy (parcells) won a few superbowls a long time ago and that has bought him some immunity but each year I hear the following comments from Parcells during his PC:

* I tell the veteran players that at some point they gotta show me they still got it.

* I follow the 3-year rule that Tom Landry started. If they dont show me something after 3-years then maybe its time to look at someone else.

* I told the players you will be judged by how to respond to a bad loss.

If I understand this...the players are held accountable while Bill (who team has collapsed three of the four years in Dallas) sits in New Jersey pondering if he still has the energy to coach and occassionaly has the audacity to ask for pay raise. This has to be the definition of insanity.

Ahhh dont drag Jersey into this.

I live about 20 minutes from the guy... he's in Deal, I'm in Bradley Beach.

I believe the game has just passed him by... I dont mind his eye for talent but his motivation tactics has obviously not worked.

Also, him being a statue on the sideline showing ZERO emotion doesnt get our guys going.

I am with you....I live in South Jersey and thought Dallas hit the jack-pot after Jerry signed Big Bill.....but it hasnt worked out like anyone thought. I knew Bill was done when he spent 20 minutes talking about his pet cat to the Seattle media before the playoff game.

Not to get too off topic but where at?

I am moving down there soon... I start working as a poker dealer at the Borgata on Wednesday at their Winter Open.

I'm just afraid of the alternatives to Parcells.

Hopefully, Mosley and the likes are wrong that Norv Turner -- and folks like him -- would top Jerry's list. Even Commanders fans would have a reason to laugh.

I realize Turner and some of Jerry's old pals did a lot of great things here. But they were coordinators and have failed as head coaches elsewhere. There's just no reason to go with a retread like that. I'd rather an uknown up-and-comer be handed the position than a guy like Norv Turner.

As I said, it's a sad day when one doubts Parcells -- a slightly-better-than .500 coach here -- can be replaced. And I really do question what Jerry will do when Parcells leaves. Unless he can land Cowher, I'm not too excited about the prospects.
