Is Parnell the only player on the team with a superbowl ring?

We're only having this debate because you initiated it. You didn't agree with an opinion in an article I posted and this was before you even read the article or even knew who wrote it. It could have been from a well respected sports writer for all you knew but because you didn't agree with the opinion you regarded it as nonsense and moved on. You only made a big deal about it after you went back to see who wrote it and saw that it was a fan.

Well I got news for you we're all fans giving an opinion based on what we've seen of Parnell and what we've read by those who've analyzed his game up close. I'll say it again all the great things that are being said about Parnell won't be validated until he's the "starter" and helps solidify the OL.

Big difference buddy. Not just my opinion about Parnell but experts opinions as well. Don't twist what I said into your agenda. I saw the article and saw the author right away but I didn't read it and never will. I didn't post about the author until you insinuated I had to put up an article from the internet to counter your guy's opinion. It's fine for fans to have opinions and you're entitled to yours just like Archie is his. But if you try to pass it off as validating your statements then you're using a 'primary' source from a nobody to reference your opinion. That's not going to fly.

If you start ad hominem attacks and use strawman arguments as well as spin and twist what I have to say then expect to get called on it.

How do you know an article isn't true if you didn't read it? If you're saying someones opinion is wrong isn't that disagreeing with it? Whether it's coming from an expert or a fan it's an "opinion." An experts opinion isn't always right is it? No one is attempting to twist what you're saying I don't play that game. All you have to do is be clear on what you're trying to convey if it's being taken wrong. Are you and the experts saying Parnell has no problem with balance? A player getting off balance may not have anything to do with a lack of strength it could be their technique. This is a comment taken from the article below from the Cowboys website "He is stronger than Doug Free, but likely still needs to work on his technique."

Here's an except from another article probably another Cowboys fan but this is his opinion of Parnell "He is still growing into his body and because of this he sometimes struggles with power and inside moves. Even when out of position, Parnell’s athletic ability often allows him to regain position and re-anchor. Since he is a young player, (only playing on the offensive line for two seasons) his hand positioning still needs some work along with improving his functional strength."

Like I mentioned earlier I've had enough football debates to know that regardless of the respectability of the source if a FAN doesn't agree with their view they'll say they're wrong. I've seen some very well respected NFL experts get slammed on this board because they had an unfavorable opinion of the Cowboys or one of their players. My feeling is this if someone from a fan board is going to say I'm wrong or some expert is wrong or a fan who writes articles is wrong than they should be able to post an article from someone whose position supports theirs.

I agree that Parnell has potential but potential means he hasn't done it yet. Potential hasn't gotten him a starting job yet. Every Cowboy fan out there wants Parnell to win the RT job because everyone is fed up with Free. I want Parnell to win the job just like everyone else but I'm not going to be sold on him from hearing about all the potential he has. I'll be sold when he's "starting" and helping solidify the OL.
