It’s said that OSA was moved because he wasn’t a scheme fit.

Maybe that was it. Maybe it was about money.

But..

If OSA isn’t a scheme fit then is Quinnen Williams a good fit for a 3-4 if that’s truly what they’re doing?

I just don’t know if we ever get a player that warrants giving up a 1 & a 2 for if he’s just gonna be a 3-4 defensive lineman.

Any thoughts?

Have they said how they plan to use him?

I think a problem with Odighizuwa is that Williams is going to be your weak side guy, and Odighizuwa isnt really suited for the strong side. You couls play Williams on the strong side, but thats a waste of his talent.

They will probably have Clark on the strong side, with Oingoboingo at NT on obvious run downs and Gary at 5T and Clark at NT on passing downs

A fit for ANY defense

Q. Williams is the absolute least of our concern on defense. He'll fit somewhere in any situation.
Nope...I read it here. They're are concerns about him firing in. Same with Pickens...we want to be run heavy. Looks like Pickens is on the way out. A dominant ball hawking wr doesn't seem. To fit in with this style of play.

OSA played 4i, 5tech and even some nose at UCLA and excelled in the system.

Q Williams played in a 34 system his first 4 seasons in the league producing 27 1/2 sacks in the 4 year span including 12 in 2022.
He's totaled 13 in the 3 seasons since!

VERY stupid question
IF your DC cannot figure out how to use that kind of talent then you fire the DC
