Is Renewed Roster a Test for Shottenheimer?

It's quite humorous to me that the Cowboys could ever be considered contenders for a Super Bowl anytime soon after the disaster of last season. Making the playoffs would be a miracle.
I don't get this.

2020 was far worse than 2024, and in 2021 The Cowboys were 12-5.

This team is not all that much different than the 2023 team that was the 2 seed. They are FAR better at WR than they have been since 2020.

You are like an ostrich with your head in the sand. The Cowboys aren't getting better. They are on the down cline with the only recourse being to fire coaches and losing its best talent each year because the real problem owns the team and is immune to dismissal. Mediocrity will haunt this team for much longer with fans like you thinking things aren't so bad.

The bitterness is evident with some fans. It can't possibly be a better team because they already made up their minds before the changes were made that they would sit around and parrot each others thoughts, try to bring others to their level.

Miserable fans.

Top it off with the game that Jones is playing with Parsons. This flows downhill. Players see how Dallas is jacking around one of the best players in the league and know if they will do it to Dak, and to Lamb, and to Parsons....they will do it to them as well.

Wait, so coming off of last year you think 9-8 would be a season that starts speculation on whether he should be fired? I'm sorry, but we stunk last year and we stunk before Dak was hurt so I don't want to hear the bs injury excuse from Stephen or fans. 9 wins would mean the ship has turned in the right direction IMO. This is not a SB roster or a team any reasonable fan should be expecting 11 or 12 wins out of. This team needs a culture shift first and foremost. This year is about starting us towards where we need to be, not getting to where we need to be.
My opinion and yours really do not matter when discussing the Cowboys chances.
Use logic if you will but the wild card remains Yoda who throws logic aside and does what he wants. With Yoda's extreme age and the good off-season we've had, Yoda might want a quick turnabout or else.

We got the equivalent of stud free agent. We just traded for him.
Yeah, because he only cost $3.7M and there goes a prime pick next year. If you noticed the post I was responding to said "I think we need one more draft." You can't have it both ways.
