I think Madden saw a lot of Stabler in Farve. A guy who could take a busted play and turn it into a big play. No doubt Brett had the stronger arm but both shared the ability to improvise in the heat of the moment. I think Madden sees that in Romo which is why Madden has talked highly of Romo.
