This is a serious topic and worthy of real contemplation.

I know we all come down on one side or the other when it comes to this guy..

..but all emotions aside..

..what's really going on here?

Romo has been thru 3 HCs..multiple staff shuffles and multiple player infusions around him..

from the star positions at WR, RB and certainly the OL.

..to defensive philosophy changes and coordinators..

all in the name of being more.

ROMO FRIENDLY.

It doesn't work.

Instead we come back to his same shortcomings and formulate elaborate excuses why its not his fault he throws INTs at the wrong time..on primetime TV and evisorates the Franchise yearly now

Now what?

Now what? Hope that Romo just like E-Lie in spite of himself can get in a position where things go right and he ends up getting a ring. E-Lie has 2 rings and is living proof that if things go the right way even a bum at QB can get rings. So there is hope with Romo, especially since he is more talented than E-Lie.

Now having said that, hope and pray that Romo gets some better play calling and OC production at some point. Its pretty much been Romo and Red _ joined at the hip so some of the blame has to go to Red. Hope and pray that at the crucial times his receivers dont just stop in the middle of routes after the ball has already left his hand. Hope and pray that he gets some good fortune like Flacco got last year in Denver.

Hope and pray that his career doesnt finish where he is just like Don Meredith or Danny White - a pretty good QB that always seemed to come up short.

His shortcomings ? What about the worst defense in franchise history? What about the receivers not making plays in clutch situations outside of maybe Bryant? How about Jason Garrett start taking responsibility for his offense instead of throwing Tony Romo under the bus?

The primary reason this football hasn't been successful is because of the defense. Romo makes mistakes but so do all other quarterbacks in the league.

Bill just quit. Didn't even have a fulll season with Romo starting.
Wade Philips downfall was the fact the most of the roster at the time thought they were entitled to everything and lack of talent at safety.
Jason Garret lacks experience and has had some of the worst defense in franchise history.
