Is Seattle that much better than us???

Who the hell aret hese guys???? I mean Shaun Alexander is a great back, but the rest of their offense, who, what??? Stevens, Engram, Jurevicious, Hackett, throw in the injured darrell jackson and Hasselback???? Are they that much better than our skill guys.....does it all really come down to their OL, two studs and serviceable guys....their defense is suspect, although tonite they look like the second coming.....they are 10-2 and coasting, I know they get 6 easy wins a year (their division), a weakened Eagles team, thats 7 wins as a gimme....admittedly they took care of business, whereas we didnt, Dallas blew games they had won...

Point is the NFC leader is not that much better, frustrating being that close but that far away...

Maybe we are a LT and RT away also.....

I agree-WE'RE better than them. The Gints ARE better than them. Heck, even the Panthers and Bucs ARE better than them. Forget our tackles, our KICKING GAME has costed us dearly in 3 of those losses-otherwise, Tucker's and Pettiti's incompetence would be laughed and joked about alot here.

Tat isnt the same Eagle team we beat twice. Wothout McNabb Andy Reid is horrible. They should let their def. coordinator be head coach and hire an off coordinator. I said it before with a different coach they would of won their Superbowl.

When we played the eagles both times with their leader, Donovan Mcnabb and the 1st time they had Mcnabb and Terrell Owens.

Mcnabb is gone, the 3rd string Quarterback comes in and that sends a silent but deadly signal that this season is pretty much over.

The Eagles have quit and that is why they got destroyed 42-0.

Man, I really hate the Eagles but it is a shame how far they have fallen and how one guy really disrupted their locker room and really had a hand in all of this.

I say this because the Eagles have veterans like Brian Dawkins who worked their butts off the entire season only to have Owens totally undermine what they were trying to do.

I believe the point I was making is that special teams probably makes the BIGGEST difference.

Sorry about getting off track-but with all the whoring the Gints are getting in the sports media, lest everyone is forgetting about their poor STs play this year.

Yes, you're right. Seattle is probably the best team in the NFC b/c of their STs play, in addition to their O and D.

Well, yeah-that's the point. No matter how GREAT the O and D are, special teams is EVERYTHING in the NFL, ultimately.

After the Skins and Hawks game, everyone was complaining about Drew, the playcalling, the 2 minute drill D, etc. Was just pointing out that we make a couple of kicks, the game would have been long over.

Same with the Pats-they play GREAT special teams-which has been their "make" over the last few years.

Frankly-you always wonder why the Iggles went after Owens. Was it 'cuz Mc5 wanted to get every penny of his $100m+ contract? Did the Iggles want to get greedy in scoring points?(A Philly article last year wrote a piece how Eagles players admitted that running up the score was meant to send a message to the league)

This was a darn good football team even before TO thought about wearing an Eagles uniform. And there were several good WRs in FA to boot.
