If we're talking about mazi Smith do people still not understand what nose tackles do or don't do they're not really going to have a big stat sheet..

I know this is not the last time I'm gonna be able to have to say this but here's a good example last year the Philadelphia Eagles took Jordan Davis 13th overall in the first round he's a true nose tackle people talk about him having a very disappointing rookie season he's playing better this year but does his name get called a lot Nope does anybody really know he's even on the field Nope I don't remember during the game his name being mentioned look nose tackles are inglorious job they're not gonna get any kind of name recognition that you're looking for..

The only people who really know how Smith is doing is if they breakdown the actual tape in the coaches know what his actual responsibilities were and how he executed it it's very difficult for us to see that on the field... By the way Smith was 27th overall in the first round versus Jordan Davis 13th overall they both had a very slow start to the rookie careers because it's almost natural for that to happen..
