  • A stout running game
  • Efficient QB
  • Fast and relentless defense
  • Solid special teams play.
The show is back in town and I think we are going to like what we see on the field. I can't wait to see what Quinn does with Hankins.

Complimentary football played by a young and hungry group of freak athletes with some gritty Vets sprinkled through the roster. It's on!

I love that we build most of it through the draft. Parsons . Williams, Hankins. The list goes on the young talent

The offense was much better in the 90's.

perhaps if this defense turns out to be even better come playoff time they can compensate for this inconsistent offense……I’m somewhat confident that the offense can score on the Eagles but I think they would get mauled by a defense like the Bills.

I’ll settle for winning the NFC Championship game until this offense can improve

What happens if we trail by more than double digits early in a game? I would like to see this situation play out in a regular season game to see how we manage it.

I would trade a prime Emmitt for Zeke, Pollard, and Schultz right this very minute and throw in a draft pick just for safe measure!

Check back in 2025.
But what concerns me is that our ownership-coaches-coordinators aren't as in-sync as Jimmy's staff was.
I just get the feeling that Kellen Moore is on one page (or has his own territory), Dan Quinn is on another and McCarthy is just along for the ride.
I think coaching will trip us up.

Great defense and running the football will always be a good way to get to and have success in the playoffs.

Just need to the O to get into a rhythm and get hot at the right time.

It's mostly on one man's shoulders. Let's hope he can carry the load without stumbling too much.

that’s true. All eyes are on every qb and that’s why some of them will command almost 25% of the teams salary cap next season.

It's the formula, obviously not the ingredients I refer to. Keep up the good work.

What formula? Aikman was one of the greatest timing-based QBs and he threw thousands of reps with Michael Irvin, who didn’t have any breakaway speed. It was because of Aikman’s accuracy and Irvin’s ability to fight defenders in tight spaces that the formula worked. Then there was also Aikman’s dynamic with Novacek.

Aikman wasn’t a game manager. They were a run first team in the NFC which was built the same way. It was a run first era.

This is a passing era, meaning you got to be able to throw 300 plus yards come play off time.

well, we did trail the eagles 20-3 in the 2nd quarter and it didn’t turn out so well.

but to be fair I’m trying to forget that game too

With Dak as QB. Can we win from that position with him
