The offense was much better in the 90's.

Yeah, the defense is looking like the 90's a bit, but the offense has a way to go. Still not strong running team...too many missed 3rd and shorts. OL not on that level. And Dak ain't exactly Troy. This team will HAVE to be carried by the defense to get anywhere in the playoffs.

We have the best Gunners on any punt team...look at em they are always down field forcing the fair catch or stopping the ball carrier for a short gain

We don’t have the receivers we had in 92-95 or the run stopping defense. Plus our running game is it nearly as potent as it was back then when Emmitt was leading the league in rushing. The only thing we’ve done real well the season is rush the passer.

One thing to remember, those 90's team offense did not exactly blow away opponents every game. When the got the lead, then the ground game took over, using clock and scoring later on as the defense could actually hold a lead.
Finally we have a defense like that again that I do not fear them giving up a lead like I have for the past 15 year or more at times.

But I won't get overly excited until I see more. Still a long way to go in the season.

You can't compare pre-cap era to post-cap era teams. The pre cap era teams could stack talent in a way that is not possible now.

Moore is definitely a chink in the armor. Turner and Zampese (RIP) were ahead of their time.

Dak's no Troy,Zeke is no Emmitt and C.D. is no Michael. I just wish this offense could look like it it wasn't a struggle to score TDs. We have a championship defense that we've waited for years to have and now the offense struggles. Hopefully they'll get their act together before the playoffs.

Can we please just play what is the most effective means possible? I'm sick of people saying that we have to run this team like the 90s. We no longer have Jimmy Johnson and a plethora of trade capital from someone like Hershel Walker.

Frankly, we are a deep threat receiver and a dominant DT away from being able to compete in the NFC. The NFC is weak right now and if we get those pieces together, we can certainly get to the Superbowl.

Now is NOT the time it sit on our butts. We need to make some trades that will take this team to the top.

we are close to winning 3 of the next 4 Super Bowls? Buffalo is the class of the NFL and aren't close either. That was a dynasty and a top 5 all time team. Love the optimism though
