Is the Colts vs. Cowboys game the national CBS game?

For the 1000th time...yes. It is nationally televised. What other game would the rest of America rather watch?

I always miss the first portion of the game.

I have the Sunday Ticket, but of course they don't show the games your local stations show. So, I have to watch it on my local station.....which shows the Chiefs....

So what's the big deal? Well, I won't get the Cowboy's game until the stupid Chiefs game is over.

It works on Fox too....I miss portions of those games due to the stupid Rams.

So, I love it when we're not nationally televised. I actually get to see the whole game that way.

I have the Sunday Ticket, but of course they don't show the games your local stations show. So, I have to watch it on my local station.....which shows the Chiefs....

You need to either look harder for the channel or call DirecTV. I had the same issue for the Eagles vs. Cowboys game this year because they were showing the Saints game in my area, and it wasn't over yet. I flipped over to the DTV channel (in the 700 range) that was supposed to show the game, and they kept showing it until halftime of the Dallas game. After that, I had to switch to the local affiliate, when the Saints game was long over.

Last year, our local Fox affiliate was showing a Rams game....the same Rams game was on one of the 700s. However, a Commander game (also being broadcast on Fox), was blacked out in the 700s. I called DirectTV to report the problem. The guy told me, "Well, you shouldn't be seeing the Rams game on both channels..."

That was it.....

I'm very disappointed in the Sunday Ticket......but there's not a lot I can do about it. I pray it doesn't go to digital cable (not available in my area).....

I used to get that......But the last two seasons, as soon as 3:00 hits, I get the message telling me that the game is not available in my areas.

I really think my affiliates whined about it.

Stupid FCC regulations.

Your Fox affiliate has no stroke in this argument. The NFL and DTV passed a rule last year to allow the late game to be shown on the DTV 700+ channel until the local affiliate can switch over. A google search on this will likely produce the article from last year.

You need to call a special customer complaint line, and not normal DTV customer service. The normal customer service is filled with high school kids that have no clue. There is a special number to call, where they throw free **** your way for being a loyal customer. Explain your situation as it is likely a problem that DTV can fix.

Where can I find that number? I called DirectTV numerous times last year...I emailed them....I got nothing......But I called the regular customer service number.

Yeah, I'll look it up for you and send you a PM with the number. It was posted in this forum sometime before the start of preseason.

By the way, DTV probably has your coordinates/location wrong, and this is the reason why your 700+ channel is blacking out the PM games. It isn't your fault. You pay your money for the Ticket and should get to see any game you want in entireity.

My satellite system was doing crazy things when I first got DTV. I was picking up locals from places north of me (in other states), plus my own locals. They need to have your info right to make sure you get the game.

ohhhh dude, I date a Chiefs fan here in Dallas. And I here you on that. She goes nutz when the game doesn't show when it supposed to.

But who cares, they are the Chiefs, and Cowboys rule. (BTW, going to the Bronco game at Arrowhead on Turkey Day, WITH my Boyz Coat on as usual...)
