Is The NFC East Race Over?

They just got obliterated on Monday Night Football by the Saints. They host the undefeated Green Bay Packers and then they have to travel to Dallas to play the red hot Cowboys. Doesn't look good at all. I'd be shocked if they win either of the next two games. Meanwhile the Cowboys travel to Arizona to face the 2 win Cardinals then host the Giants. Two very winnable games. Then they have Tampa Bay, Philly, and New York one more time. Wouldn't be shocked if we won out. At this point it's looking like the regular season finale between the Cowboys and the Giants will be meaningless similar to the Eagles/Cowboys finale last year. The Cowboys will probably have the division wrapped up.

If we beat the Cards and the Giants lose to the Pack, it's a good start. As of now, not even close.

It ain't over till its over. Rivalry games are tough and anything can happen.

Far from it. The Giants will play us tough. We just have to hold serve.

The way we've played the last two weeks, the Cardinals game isn't a gimme.

We need to play better before us as fans should think we're going to wrap up the NFC East, let alone win out.

I still don't trust this team nearly enough to declare anything over. Bring this up again end of December.

This is right where the Giants always excel - when their backs are against the wall and everyone is counting them out. I'm not eliminating them until the Cowboys beat them in that final game of the season, just like in 2009 when you couldn't eliminate the Eagles until that final whistle in the playoff game.

stop with these threads,we have two games against them and they know us too well.

No, it's not over because the Cowboys have to continue winning. A losing streak gives the Giants a glimmer of hope.

If the Cowboys win their next three, and the Giants lose their next two games, then the division race would be over.

On a side note: depending upon what the 49ers and Saints do, it would be in the Cowboys' best interest to win as many games as possible because they would still have a chance at a higher playoff seed.

Uh, no.

And "red hot Cowboys"? Really?

Eh he is 17 we can let him slide. He is excited about the win streak even if its been against bad teams. Thankfully the last 4 games have been against terrible teams if not I am not sure where this team would be.

The Giants are going to come to Dallas playing for their season.
It's far from over.

Dude, the Giants' backs have been against the wall for the past three or four games, yet they continue to lose. I am not ready to say they are done, but right now, it appears that the only thing they are "excelling" in is losing games.
