in the fact that the owners and players are rolling to the bank and the fans just suck it up.I know its real unlike wrestling,but the players all seem to be friends behind the scenes.In fact i bet T.O. hangs with half the eagle players still.They get paid no matter what happens.Either way i love the game itself.But the media and money really has put a dent into my beloved sport.IMHO

Football players aren't required to hate each other. If TO went on TV and cut a promo on the Eagles and guaranteed a victory THAT would be like wrestling. If TO tanked plays and dropped balls on purpose so the Cowboys lose then made a heel turn and bragged about doing it THAT would be like wrestling. Come on, man...be serious.

Some of these rules are killing me though. like, you can't tackle a QB below the knees anymore? Good Lord, say your a fat DL chasing Vick and he's about to turn the corner and be gone. You mean to tell me you can't make one last swipe at his ankles to try and trip him up? Geez.

I don't know about the 'media and money', but I made a comment or two about comparing a certain player and wrestling-type shenanigans over two years ago...

I think that only applies if the QB is in the pocket. Once he scrambles/runs outside the pocket he's fair game.

I don't see what the big deal is, they all want to win. They will do whatever it takes. I mean its a pretty much known fact that many of these guys hang out with each other. I mean where else are they going to find people like them. Young...Athletes...rich...semi-famous. You tend to hang around people who are like you. Plus with free agency, you get to know a lot of people.

I hate wrestling. It (like Soap Opera's as that is exactly what it is) rot the brain. For each 30 seconds you watch it, your IQ drops 1/5 of a point.
