It looked a lot different with the downfield passing and agressiveness.

Eagles defense is really not that much better. What will your excuse be then. This is like the 20th time you posted this across different threads. It is like you want him to fail Just to say you were right.
That’s exactly right.

It seems that when our offense works the defense is fresh and allows us to rack up the score. When we fall behind and have to dig ourselves out of a deficit, the defense gets worn out and our opponent runs away with the score.

You’re going off raw yards which is not a great stat to use. They’re 25th ranked in passing yards allowed.

Prior to this game the rams Defense had allowed 4 passing td’s all season. Dak had 4 today.

The rams defense prior to this game has allowed 88 passer rating to all the QB’s they’ve played combined. Dak’s was like 130.

The point is the Rams defense hasn’t been an awful defense. I’m not saying they’re world beaters either.

It is just one game of course. We do need to see it against the top defenses.
And what if we were talking about Dak's stats? It would be ok to use his stats if we're propping him up, right? But since we're taking about him beating up on a pass defense that is ranked pretty low they're not great stats to use.

I see how this is going to go.

I’m just pointing out that the rams defense isn’t awful against the pass. You said they’re awful. They aren’t, objectively.

And when people want to use Dak’s stats. All I ask is that they use meaningful stats. And not bad ones like total yards. Whether they make Dak look good or bad. Just use stats that are actually meaningful.

We need to get better O-Line play and we need a true #1 RB and this offense would be unstoppable

The run games needs improvement and Lamb needs to be featured like this every week. Also, Turp needs more offensive touches.

We also need a bowling ball and I think Formen is the dude to go after with Chi town.
Yes, our lead back is averaging 3.9 per carry. That's not what you want to see. A good GM would try to fix that.

And I don't consider that a slight against Pollard. We are simply trying to run him up the middle too much, even in this game. When we get him out on the edges, he makes plays.

If the passing game can back teams off maybe the running game will improve but so far that run blocking scheme appears to be a huge fail... And I think Dowdle should start or at least play 50% of the snaps.

The rankings are posted at NFL.com. So am I to assume the official NFL site is unreliable with their statistical rankings?

All I'm saying is Dak beat up on a bad defense today. Next week they will face a better defense. We'll see how it goes.

No. They’re reliable. I’m just telling you that their rankings are based off total yards. Which is a very poor way to determine their overall performance.

It’s one game, we’ll see how we do against Philly. That will be the true test. The criticism of the offense will start up again next week if we don’t play well. We need a good offensive performance against a contending team.
Greatest thing you said in a while

Running game isn’t fixed as long as they keep running Pollard between the tackles.

…and under use the TE’s.
