Is the "happy" locker room the Rangers all over again?

no cause unlike the rangers the cowboys have talent on both sides of the ball

Well I won't do it because:

1. I'm too lazy.

2. I'm too afraid to see the damage. Too embarrassing.

I guess I'll take your word for it, but it's hard to imagine them being worse under Bill than Campo. So you think it won't get worse with this laid back atmosphere?? We do still have the penalty machine Flozell Adams.

Defense:

93 for 895 (6th worst)

Offense:

100 for 939 (5th worst)

Like I said... can't get much worse.

Thanks, you didn't have to look it up, I was just gonna take your word for it. But that's gettin' Raider territory.

Its just an endless cycle ... you get a "players coach" and when they're losing the media and fans scream that they need a tough, hardnosed, no nonsense guy. When you get that guy and the team isn't winning then you bring in a player's coach, and the media and fans think that now you're suddenly going to see all these guys suddenly turn into better players because "they can be themselves". Rinse, lather, repeat.

This happened in NE when Parcells left there. Ding dong the witch is dead. Bring on California Cool Pete Carroll. And at first it was ok. But it gradually deteriorated there. But was it because the tough coach works better than the laid back one? I don't think so. The roster just got worse, which is something BP didn't get enough credit for. Bring in Bellichick and he retools the entire roster- what does that tell you? Better players play better.

Phillips has the benefit of the full roster BP built. People shouldn't underestimate the importance of this. And maybe after the hard guy the softer guy gets better results. But it's not that much about personalities.

Just a month and a half ago the cure to the Rangers ills was that Showalter was gone and players could finally "be themselves."

It maybe the media that's responsible ... but ...

I don't want to cast aspersions to Wade but it's VERY UNCOMFORTABLE to watch Cowboys players say he "treats us as men" ... "lack of pressure" etc. .... and just a few weeks ago, well this same "respect, " loose atmosphere that the Rangers players were happy to get from Ron Washington ... well it isn't doing them much good nowadays.

Well maybe it isn't about either of them .... OK who is better as a GM, Jerry or Jon Daniels .... (neither had any prior experience, so why were they hired in the first place :)

Big difference between the two. The Cowboys actually have talent. The Rangers are essentially a AAA team with a few good players here and there.
