Is the RKG mentality conductive to defensive weakness?

Can't play with scared money. On the field or felt.

Iv'e won plenty on the felt that way. I can sit back with the best of them and bore anyone to death. Only play sure cards until the blinds get too high then play more aggressively. Up to that point, I drink Mt. Dew while the others get liquored up. It usually is only a matter of time.........time that I am willing to wait out

You have watched this team for over 40 years.. ? Seen this team actually have winning successful, respected teams. And coaches..

Yet, you still back this coach?

Wow.

I believe Garrett is leaps and bounds better that Campo, Phillips, and maybe Gailey. Certainly not better than Parcells, but, really, as long as the "chain of command" in the Cowboys is as it is, I do not believe that results will be different.

If we list all of the players who should be playing on our defense and aren't available, the only ones who might fit in the "not RKG" category to many would be Josh Brent, and possibly Jay Ratliff, but I don't personally think we know enough about what happened with Rat to make that determination. Really, the reason our D is has been decimated is injuries, not character issues. However, we might want to consider that drafting injury-prone players comes with added risk, and perhaps avoid it in the future.

And I'd take Garrett a billion times over another T.O. This team has still never fully healed from the divisive toxicity he brought. But I don't care to dive back into that endless discussion.

Meanwhile PacMan's fans in Cinci are calling for him to be cut or sued•. He's had yet more brushes with the law. It's just endless headache, heartache and loserville with him.

*Just Google it

LOL, this organization has never recovered from hiring Garrett you mean. If T.O. really still has an impact on this team 5 years later, then that just shows how pathetic the leadership of Garrett is. That would make him, by far, the worst coach in the NFL. PacMan has his issues, I will grant that, he is different from T.O. in that regard, but all the headaches he brings don't seem to keep his team from the playoffs. The headaches Garrett brings are devastating.

I don't.. Garrett has had talent.. And, I didn't care for Campos, but, he had zilch when it came to that.. Gailey is a better coach than Garrett.. Phillips is and was better as well.

Garrett is not a HC..
