The season is already "done". They lost all credibility against SF, to regain any legitimacy they would have to go on a serious tear..I'm talking 6-8 straight wins. What's left of their pride is on the line Monday night.

The Chargers won't be easy. Their defense has been terrible but they can score. A week off to get the defense squared away a bit. Desperate team at home. Dallas is coming in like a wounded animal. Dak needs to show something after that Sunday night debacle. I think if Dallas gets rolled again and the offense can't get going against this defense the season will start to unwind. I know it's week 6 but that SF loss did some damage. I know it is a bit early to be calling for a must win but I think this week is just that. The remaining schedule is not easy.

What do you guys think?

The season ended after the Cards Game when we saw the team were frauds.
They were officially buried after the 9ers game.
Wildcard, one and done would be the very best this team can hope for.

The season wouldn't be on the line had they had played San Francisco with some guts and fortitude even in a close loss. The embarrassment of how the whole team played is psyche smashing. It will be a miracle if they recover fully from that debacle.

one of 2 ways it can go, they circle the wagons and come out as a team and fix it or yeah they could self implode from the inside out...but one thing is for sure there needs to be a gut check starting with the HC/DC and #4/#11

That loss Sunday night should do nothing more than kick them in the butt. This whole team played the same way against cards. If we come out the same way we have against the teams we beat then we can beat any team. But when we come out not prepared or lazy the we can’t beat anyone. So far this season it’s been one team or the other and no in between.

Usually respond to this kind of loss by bouncing back. Come out swinging and Defense swarming to the ball and getting after the qb. We will beat some of the these good teams coming up and will give us all confidence again. Then the playoffs come and we will see what happens. Back to back 12-5 seasons. Last year we won one. Enjoy the ride if you’re a fan. Long offseason.

Here’s where I think you are wrong…the QB position could be in flux. While they haven’t won anything the team has been ok for the last 18 years because the QB position was solid. Here’s where I think you are wrong…the QB position could be in flux. While they haven’t won anything the team has been ok for the last 18 years because the QB position was solid. If we lose another we will have to look at how we lose. This week was as much Defense as Offense. We are predictable on Offense and whether the staff wants to admit it or not, our run game is not strong. We need Luepke or someone to pound on a team. That’s what allows Pollard to do his thing. This run by committee is not working. RB aren’t able to get in the flow of the game. They get a carry or 2 and are off the field. There is things that need to be changed. And one of them is not going to be QB. Dak is the starting QB. Do what we can do. The way we played in our wins against lesser teams is the way we need to be playing. I sure was not expecting the play we saw against niners.

That’s the last 2 years. First 12-5 season was one and done in playoffs. Last season was 12-5 and won a playoff game. If this team is on schedule we will beat the next 3 or so and then bomb again against a lesser team. When we are on we can beat anyone..
