I don't know what the overall consensus is, but WFT just need to put together a good offense...like the Cowboys need to put together a good defense. Can't see anyone hyping any team in the East.

Don’t think they are overhyped at all. I don’t see many people saying this is a Super Bowl team or anything. They are the definition of average....which in the east means you have a pretty good chance.

The biggest hyped teams I can remember is Washington after Snyder bought them. The 2000 offseason. Where they signed Deion Sanders, Bruce Smith and a bunch of others.

And the 2011 offseason of the Eagles where Vince Young casted them as the dream team.

Both of those teams were trash.

Never put your faith in a team led by Fitzpatrick. He is as inconsistent as they come. I love that they got him as QB. I would be more afraid if they actually got a consistent QB. Because their defense is pretty good. Offense is very meh, though. No real playmakers. But they are trying to fix that.

I think our offense is good enough with Dak and our weapons to counteract anything they have did this offseason.

In fact, as of right now, the Dallas Cowboys are the over hyped team in this division and are picked to be Superbowl contenders.

The Commanders have a stop gap at Qb and are in the 2nd season of Rivera's rebuild. Jury is still out,IMO.
The planets would have to align perfect in order for them to be a contender of any kind....but they should be a fun watch.

Supposedly they have a top notch defense, and are "only a quarterback away" from being SB contenders.

Which is reaching, any new to the team quarterback will have a learning curve, even Brady took over half the season to get in sync with the Bucs and he's been in the league 20 years.

But we'll see...

They are a one sided team like us. Now if our offense could be combined with their defense........that might be something to watch.

I think the gap between out respective QBs is enough to give us the edge if we can out together a halfway competent defense.

I do believe there is a significant gap between the elite QBs like Rodgers, Brady, and Mahomes in comparison to Fitz. But there is no significant gap wide enough between quarterbacks that are not elite that can make up for overall team talent. If the Commanders are the better overall team, Dak is not going to make up for that. We'll lose.

I think the WFT signed another WR? They have a good coach. They have a good defense. If they can get a decent offense they're winning the division.
