Is there a snowballs chance that we could get Boldin?

Boldin would be nice but overkill considering we have TO locked up for a few more years at top dollar. I'd settle for a guy who adds a consistent deep threat that forces defenses to play us more honest.

I think Boldin's biggest issue is that his contract is not very competitive compared to other WRs who have put up numbers like him. He also is locked into it for 3 more years. If Az were smart they would do a restructure/extension to keep him happy as he has clearly outplayed his contract.

I heard a rumor floating around that was something along the lines of Dexter Coakley, Terry Glenn, and a 3rd for Boldin...has anyone else seen it?
why would you trade my son anyway, hes a beast?

we cant trade Coakley, he is too important to our defense

I say we throw in Q-Bong

How many times can the 'Boys trade Coakley?? I'm sure we are close to the limit.

I like Boldin but I continue to have doubts about getting a #2. I think more likely, in next year's draft we use our extra 3 and 4 to move up a bit to grab some who falls.

no, settle for Matt Jones

don't shoot for the stars, which coincidentally, is my dating philosophy :)

Always shoot for the Moon, if you miss you'll still land among the stars.

That made me feel all warm inside. Rainbows, unicorns and butterflys.

In fact, I think my blood sugar just went over the top.

The truth, however, is that if you shoot for the moon and miss, you die in the cold vacuum of space.

Actually, the stars are light years behind the moon from our perspective. Shooting for the moon and falling short would actually allow Earth's gravity to again, lock on to you, pulling you towards Earth where you would promptly burn to death upon re-entry into Earth's atmosphere.

Keep the beer goggles on, Bob.

I think the Eagles have a better chance than we do. That said, I think Boldin stays in AZ.

Way to turn a feel-good sentiment into a writhing mass of horror. :D

My wife says I have a propensity to turn everything into a horror movie.

What's funny though, if they were to lose him to another team, they would justify it to their fanbase by saying they already have Fitzgerald and that it's unrealistic to have "steaks on every plate" or something to the like. But if he were to come to us, they'd be seeing a big fat juicy steak sitting right across from Boldin named TO....and a prime rib named Witten...and so on and so on......

Yea, their Fanbase would freak but I don't care.
