Laron Landry, but he will be a top 10 pick. I want him for the saints as well  the kid is a stud

We don't need a rookie learning on the job. The best available free agent free safety will do.

Reggie Nelson, Florida (Junior, expected to declare) is going to be a mid 1st rounder most likely.

Trust me...Watkins is going to be a solid starter at FS for a long time.

I'd spend that pick on a WR, OL, or CB.

Thanks. And they come from which college ?
Laron Landry is out of LSU, been playing at an all american level since he was a true freshman (when he won a national championship). I have a serious man crush on the guy, hes good in coverage and tac`kles like a linebacker.

corner may be a more pressing need. henry has been awful for most of the season.

Henry can be good but mostly bad this season, but we also have Aaron Glenn. But who else has been in Free Safety ?

I don't know about Watkins but I think WR, OL and CB are higher priorities draft wise. We need a veteran at FS not a rookie, but that being said it wouldn't surprise me if we spent another pick on the front 7 as we always do.

Neither of our teams will have an early enough pick to grab him unfortunately :( Any of you cowboys fans know anything about a corner that may be available late in round 1? Thats what we need the most in NO I think.

If Watkins plays the rest of the season like he did last night there will not be the need to draft a FS.

Actually I think this whole thread is...

the most pressing needs going into next year are definitely RG, NT, CB, and someone on the face of the planet that can rush the passer.

No. You don't waste first round picks on free safeties.

Agreed.

This talk about drafting a FS is short-bus material.

Any chance we can get Justin Blalock to replace Rivera at RG? I think Blalock usually plays Tackle, but I read he can play guard too.
