I recently got my first Android phone and something that has really annoyed me is the volume/ringer. Even with the thing turned all the way up I can barely hear it, as opposed to my old phone could be heard at great distances.

I have not seen one yet but is there an app that would allow me to boost the ringer/notification volume?

:laugh1: . Yeah, I have the galaxy nexus and its a pretty quiet phone unless I have an annoying ringer and that app works perfectly for me.

Have you gone into the settings to make sure the volume is as high as it can be? This is different from just pressing the volume key on the side of the phone.

Yep, those settings are a high as they will go.

:laugh2: :bang2: Seriously, all the settings and volume are all the way up. This phone just sucks, it's an HTC wildfire S and I don't recommend this phone, period. Hopefully by the end of the year I can splurge and get a Galaxy Note II.
