Is There Another Family Like the Jones's in World?

Can someone help me with this? I admit that after the NFL, NBA, and MLB (and their college counterparts), my sports knowledge ends. Is there another family in sports worldwide, like the Joneses are to the Cowboys? It seems that most owners are wealthy guys who made their fortunes in various industries and acquired teams as a hobby. However, the Joneses appear to be the only family whose sole occupation is the Cowboys. I understand that Jerry Jones made his money in oil and has interests in other ventures, but he is the only owner-general manager I am aware of. Mike Brown in Cincinnati is the closest I can think of that is similar today. Al Davis and Mark Cuban are the only ones I could recall in the past. Someone help me out here.
First of all it's not a hobby it's a corporation just because they have family that work with them in the corporation it's a corporate entity a $15 billion business there's over 1200 employees they have lots of management there's lots of layers so let's get that straight...

I'm not saying I agree with the way they've been doing things in any way shape or form am I on their side,

but you're making this into a bigger thing than it really is and by the way the Davis family still owns the Raiders and when al Davis passed on it didn't change the Raiders are worse than the Cowboys they're at least 15 teams that I can think of that can't even get anything going in the regular season.. they don't win divisions, they're not in the playoffs ,and they're ran normally what you guys called normal is it a blueprint for success..
I realize we want change around here we'd like a regular GM,
but you can do what they did with the Jaguars the Jaguars owner went over ahead of his GM and fired his GM so he can get the coach he wanted, and then who's gonna allow the head coach to hand pick A GM.. That doesn't seem normal I thought you have AGM'cause you trust he's a football guy he's gonna make the right decisions until you disagree and guess what the owner wins until you disagree and guess what the owner wins,
what's the difference ?? Jerry saying "why do I need to pay a general manager to do what I already enjoyed doing myself just so when we disagree, I'm gonna countermand him anyway??"
most owners do this, there was a thing in New England when Tom Brady over A2 year span was thinking about retirement and they kept drafting what they thought was his replacement you know they were trying to get ahead of it and Bill Belichick I believe wanted to move on from Tom Brady because he felt like he was getting older I believe that was the story and then Tom Brady what did you do he went to Robert Kraft and Robert Kraft told Bill Belichick that Tom Brady's a starter until he feels like he's not and that he's not going to get replaced until he retires basically you're not pushing out Tom Brady Bill Belichick wanted him out Bill Belichick was basically the general manager and the head coach I believe he actually had both titles and he was countermanded by the OWNER..

No matter how you feel that it varies here because Jerry's both the general manager and the owner and yes that's different than most other major sports it doesn't mean that the ownership is much different because they will fire those that are under them in a heartbeat to get their way whether it's at the draft or whether it's behind the scenes and you don't see it it happens it really does happen..

Again I'm not making excuses but will mcclay is technically the GM here he does about 50% of what a regular GM would do I know people wanna look at him as a scout he's not just a scout he has Jerry's here he helps him make decisions and yes the Jones family annoyingly enough likes to speak in public likes to act like everything is their way but there are over 1200 employees and a lot of management..
And lastly that is not all their income you know you guys it's funny you seen guys iras 401 KS you saw Jerry's tax forms I mean you know all his entities know he also owns a franchise of Papa John's he also still has other sources where he owns businesses in different areas of all kinds of varying interests including his old one with oil I guarantee he has royalties coming from that this is not his only source of income... The team's worth $10 billion and the Jones family is worth $15 billion there's $5 billion of other revenue coming from other resources..
And I know the irony is here those other entities he allows those to be managed by people he trusts and hired probably came with the franchises but still he doesn't meddle with them it's not as public this is his dream and This is why he wants to feel he needs to be out front and yes the Jones family are annoying I'm not saying they're not but it's mostly just what makes it different that that's it them being at the microphone at all the events they're always in the media they're always there to quote but as an owner they are no different than most of the other owners they're not absentee owners they just don't do it where you can see it they do it behind the scenes but they're still making decisions and they're still countering some of the things they don't like from their GM or other layers of management that's a fact...

At least we don't have to see Mike Brown's stupid face every time the team is mentioned.

So he has that over Jerry. Oh, and his team has actually been to a Super Bowl since the Spice Girls were popular.

I would say no , there is only one guy like jerry, and we were so lucky he bought our team!!
There is no way to get rid of him, it is for lifetime, however long that may be.

Then we get stephen who when asked about the drought of getting past div round, said he isnt sure there is a drought.

We are never winning anything of consequence with these amateurs running the team, but i guess that's beyond obvious at this point?
Now how can the Jones family be a bunch of amateurs after being in the business for over 30 daggum years? They graduated to pros a day or two ago by my reckoning. So better times are ahead. SMH!

The worst owner in all of sports recedes in Chicago - Jerry Reinsdorf! Not only is he incredible cheap but he constantly meddles in his teams, especially the White Sox. His hiring practice is worse then the Jones!!

Maybe hobby was not the word. Other owners treat their teams as investments.

Narcissist Dad, two bumbling older sons and a daughter who is probably the smartest of them……can’t think of one…..

Again ,I'm not agreeing with the way the Jones family's been doing free agency and some of the salary cap stuff,

but this is also an investment for them they had to get a loan they had to purchase the team they had to build the team and now they're getting rewarded for it, and some of y'all seem to be jealous about it ,

but I get what you're saying that there are some owners not many that don't worry about the day-to-day and they only want to hear reports and whatnot from their management staff but that's the only difference it is an investment, Jerry has a string of franchise Papa John's other adventures and the things that got him money he's still getting royalties and he still has some of the businesses that he had when he came into this...

So I think you guys are exaggerating there are plenty of owners who treat this then more than just a tax shelter I mean they literally care about football they bought the team because they like football and yes Jerry and Steven are a little bit too much in the media I give you that other than that though they are business people but they have a passion for football and people who hate it are the ones who sit here judging them or following the Cowboys because they also share the same passion for football and the Dallas Cowboys literally you're act like you all aren't just as involved either as a hobby or a passion the way you follow the Cowboys and Jerry had a dream he made it happen and I think people are a little jealous of them...

I could name one but I'd be banned or benched.

I'm not sure if there is another family exactly like Jerry's, but there's a lot of dysfunctional owners out there in sports.

Woody Johnson and his son allegedly nixed a trade for Jerry Jeudy because Jeudy had a low awareness rating in Madden.

Ok, let's look at the facts:
No NFCCG appearances in 29 seasons.
That's double the next runner up.
I was trying to be nice referring to them as amateurs.
Truth be told they are incompetent or just in over their heads.
They have no business trying to run a NFL team.
The lack of success on the field proves that point.
Just a little example:
Garrett as HC for 9.5 years.
The man has not even been mentioned as a HC candidate for any other NFL team since he was let go.
He should never of been given 9.5 years.
That's just crazy.
Apparently the rest of the NFL agrees.
