A fumble on the opponent's one-yard line - leaving them with a 99-yard mission with a 0-0 score - on the game's opening drive didn't "lose" this game.If we didnt fumble and the D played better we win. This team right now is just a epic failure.
Nor did a defense - as "bendy" as they were - that held MIA to 19 pts. until the final four seconds of the game.
This game was lost on the O-line. Tyron's sub (whose name I refuse to mention) totally deserted his post, putting an otherwise explosive offensive at a painful disadvantage.
And lost on coaching. McCarthy almost blew the game early on that idiotic play-action call & huge loss from the one-yard-line. The only realistic chance DAL had to win at the end was to let MIA score (it was obvious they would bleed us out to do so) with over two minutes on the clock and three timeouts in the bank. I actually like the guy, but have never seen any evidence that Big Mike can think that far out of the box.
