Is there any shot whatsoever if we make the SB that Sean Lee could play?

No. He was put on Injured Reserve and thus is ineligible to return this season.

If and it's a BIG IF....we make the SB, could Sean Lee play??

In all seriousness, Lee probably hasn't even started rehab yet. Have you seen A Football Life - Darrelle Revis? It basically shows all it took to recover from a torn ACL. Worse part, he was traded to the bucs as he was rehabbing and had to hear it through the radio or something.

Once a player is on IR, he's not allowed to return for the remainder of the season, including the playoffs.

Sean Lee was the guest on Cowboys Hour this week and his recent knee injury was naturally discussed.

There was only about 20% of the left ACL to begin with thanks to a college injury to the knee and it was just a matter of time before it tore.

Lee also had a grade 2 MCL tear along with the medial and lateral meniscus tears.

Lee opted to have the meniscus tears repaired instead of them being removed, which added 6 weeks to the timetable before he could start rehab.

I'm not sure if your signature is a reference to Tom Clancy's "Red Storm Rising," Bluefin, but if so, I heartily approve.

People need to start coming around to the fact that Sean Lee's body cannot handle the NFL.
He will be hurt again before mid season next year.

I don't want to repeat the Jimmy Smith mistake. He had injury issues. The Cowboys released him, only to see him turn into a great player in Jacksonville.
