Is this a "must win" game?

A loss and we'd be 0-2 in the NFC East. A loss and we're 2-3. It makes me sick to my stomach because we should be 4-0 right now! If there ever a time when the Eagles were ripe for an *** kicking it's RIGHT NOW!

I can't wait to see if this team steps up to the plate and brings it! And for the love of God, can we please stop being so damn conservative on offense! :bang2:

With only 16 games in a season, almost ALL games are MUST WIN.

This isn't baseball. We don't have the luxury of falling into 20 game slumps and STILL come back.

Ok, ok ... it's not a MUST WIN, but we better freakin' win it if we're trying to show we've moved to the next level.

Hell yea it's a must win. We'll have a very hard time against them in Philly, and I for one don't want to be 0-2 in the East and staring straight at 0-3. We need the next two games something fierce if we are hoping to be in the playoffs come January.

I agree. If Dallas were to lose this game it puts a lot more pressure on the team next week aginst NY. As Parcells said this is an important month of the season for all teams.

This is a big game. Must win, maybe. But as much as a loss will make us dogs of the N east, a win will make us the princes. This is probably the most important game for or season, 'cause a win gives us a slot in the playoffs with our name in it.

A win would help with team confidence but even a win will not ensure us of anything. We will still have the majority of the season in front of us. That is why I say yes it is an important game and the biggest game we have had up to this point but it is not a do or die game. A win will not put us in the playoffs and a loss is not going to knock us out of contention

First observation was to become defensive -- but on second thought ...if this is a do or die for the Eagles, this will be a dangerous game for the Cowboys. Only because we would want the win more!

No it is not, but then it does not surprise me that so many feel that way after all I have grown accustom to everything being over board around here. When we win we have some hollering Super Bowl and when we lose it is the end of the season. In 91 Dallas entered the Thanksgiving Day game with a record of 5 and 5, when all was said and done Dallas had ended that season at 11-5 and a spot in the playoffs. Sorry guys this is not do or die, important yes biggest game thus far yes but the season is far from over no matter the outcome of this game

I don't agree. It's no more do or die for the Cowboys than it is for the Eagles. Let's say the Cowboys lose. Sure it would hurt bad, but you would have lost to the runner-up Superbowl Champs. You still have a shot at dominating the Giants and splitting with the Skins. And I thought I heard someone saying something about the possibility of "two" wild cards in the NFC.

Oh there's plenty of wiggle room left post an agles loss ...and you could pull an upset!

Us upsetting you would definatly make up for that loss (spit) to the skins.

I see your point. As it is still early in the season, this is really not a must win technically. But, i bet if you asked some of the players who have delt with the embarresment the Iggs have dished out, its a must win. But, then again, every game is a must for me. THIS IS OUR HOUSE!!!!

I agree the players want this but what coaches try to guard against is their team getting to high or to low this early in a season. That is why I say this is the biggest game we have played thus far this season and it is important but you can't let the players go into a shell if you lose
