Is this coach right?

Well he is right about one thing. Football is under attack and it will be unrecognizable in a few years. This isn't the game I fell in love with.

If Reagan can make a convincing argument that we saved Christmas when we invaded Grenada, I wouldn't doubt that the destruction of football could lead to the collapse of our military. :)

I regret to predict football won't be watchable for me in 5-7 years. I feel so strongly about this, I dumped two of my four PSLs. The rules changes we will see to advance player safety will turn the game into a physical style, touch league. It started a while back with QB shielding and handcuffing defenders and has evolved into restrictions on natural movements like head lowering and will soon make kick-offs extinct .

The constant interruption from "objective officiating" has already made the game nearly unbearable to watch at times. Wait until you are tortured with some old codger throwing a flag and trying to explain that a RB didn't score the game winner on goal to go with 3 seconds left because he lowered his head.

Fedora did not get it right. Dude sounds like some kind of nut to me.
