I don't think anyone should be surprised if McFadden is kept even if he misses the whole preseason. He doesn't have to prove himself because he did that last year. The only question really is whether he starts the season on NFI.

It is so funny that DAL always plays this 'cloak and dagger' routine with their cuts and transactions...they are never just straight forward with the info and are always one of the last teams to announce....I guess they think it gives them some kind of strategic advantage but it is really just annoying to us roster junkies
