I don't want to make this personal by posting specific comments or embarrassing fellow fans, but a quick search by you will find many posts alluding to the immediate turnaround of our team, the distinct possibility of winning the division, and the concerns about losing Parker to an HC offer. If that isn't pointing to greatness, than I don't know what is.
It's not hard to find the Kool Aid posts. You yourself remarked about me prediction the Giants win as if it was absurd.

Yeah......there was alot of overhyping the "improved" defense here.

Optimism is one thing but absolutes were infectious here before a single down was played

With all of the preseason hype? Yes we needed an asskicking like this. Two things need to happen. First the team needs to lick their wounds and get to work. Second, (most) Cowboys fans need to acknowledge they bought into the hype and sound like a bunch of whiny Skip Baylesses this morning. Just as there is no free lunch for the Cowboys organization, fans need to put away the America's Team propaganda, put away the 5 SB trophies, the 90s and stop going from one extreme to another. We are not special. There are 32 teams with fanbases that want the same thing. Going to have to earn it one game at a time. Stop making excuses.

0-4 is a distinct possibility for the 2026 Cowboys. So, they have a chance to have plenty of beneficial opportunities.

Mobile QB doing naked bootlegs, mobile QB who can make off script plays, plus a power running game, and physical defensive and offensive lines equals trouble. The Commanders and Ravens are nightmare matchups based on last night. The Texans defense is a physical group and their QB only makes mistakes when he feels pressure from the defense...Dallas can't do that.

So...buckle up those chin straps people there could be more beneficial losses on the way.
