Next week against Miami should tell us if this offense is for real. Miami has given up 102 points in their first 2 games. If the Dallas offense is really as good as they appear after playing the sorry Giants and Commanders, there's no reason why they shouldn't hang at least 40 or more on Miami next week. Miami is the lowest of the low so far this season.

Granted, they're playing yet another sorry defense in Miami. The real tests against better defenses are coming up. In the meantime, there's no reason for anyone to expect less 40-45 points next week. I guess we'll see.

Yes. The Cowboys actually held the score down against the Giants in week one. They were more balanced today.

Assuming all goes well next week against the Dolphins, Dallas will be running the ball a lot and just shortening the game. I don't think they'll need to score 40-plus to beat Miami.

They are awful but we all know fitzpatrick is always going to have a few games every year that make people think hes a starter

Every week is a different game and a different team.
What we know already is what the Cowboys offense did to the Giants and Commanders.

So, they’re not “for real” if they score fewer than 40 points? Give me a break.

Do you think the Baltimore offense is good enough to hang 59 on anyone like they did to Miami? I gather that the Dallas offense is better than Baltimore, and if Dallas can't get close to doing the same, then yes, you would have to question the offense a bit. If Dallas scores less than 35 it will only be because Garrett or Moore decided to take their foot off the pedal.

Is this another sad troll attempt to say that if Dak doesn't lead them to 40 points he sucks? LOL

You trolls will stoop to any level.

Just admit you were dead wrong on Dak and get on the bandwagon. The view is great from up here. :yourock::oldcouple::oldcouple:

It does help the offense build confidence by getting three terrible defenses to start the season.

um yeah. Dak is seeing the field better, driving the ball better, and placing the ball better. That TD pass to Cooper, Dak from the first half of last year would have thrown it to the middle or to the inside where the defender can make the play but he put it low and outside. These are things that are going to be there regardless of the defenses he plays.

I'm just glad Dak is for real. 26 for 30, really? I have a hard time believing what I am seeing so far. Our WRs are for real and gameplan is nice. What a difference from the start of last year.

Yeah, you're right, I TOTALLY singled out Dak.

Dak is a legit QB and my hats off to him. He is a real good if not elite QB the way he is playing now. He gives Dallas an excellent chance to win it all this year. If the defense can play better my prediction of Dallas winning the SB this year is looking pretty good.
