Is this owner really about to reward a QB for failure after his playoff performance?

If he gets an extension then why even root for this team if its confirmed that Dak will never ever be under any pressure to perform when it matters the most. How the hell do you extend a QB who played part in one of the worst losses in Team history? So if he gets rewarded and extended after that game, he can play below average without any pressure for next 4 years. And we as fans is supposed to sit here and root for this guy who cant elevate his level of play at all after December? He will be paid and not have to worry about anything because he cant be cut so he can just smile after interceptions.

We can always laugh watching Dak stare down his WRs, while LBs jump routes. At home in the play-offs of all places. It’s like watching Trey Lance last pre-season game.

Dak didnt play well in playoff game but the defense puts us in a huge hole. Dak doesnt play defense and he led nfl in TD passes w only 5 picks.

Because if you don't sign him - than other than this year - this team won't sniff the playoffs for the foreseeable future after he leaves.

If that's what you want, then I hope you enjoy it.

By that measure, Micah and CD shouldn't be extended either. They too were part of the biggest losses in year history. CD and Dak didn't give up 40 points, Micah and the defense did. Micah also disappeared the second half of the season, or are we pretending that didn't happen?

So did Dak play well against the GB defense in 2016 that was allowing 400 yards a game going into the playoffs and had backup DBs or was it the GB defense allowing Dak to walk over them?

It’s almost like the defense excuse is ignored by Dak fanboys when Dak is padding stats against those same bum defenses…

When Dak sucks, it's the team. When he plays great it is just how amazing he is. The Emperor Has No Clothes with a lot of Dakminions.

Dallas beat the Giants 40-0 to open the season. Apparently it’s not the Giants defense sucking, it’s Dak’s Greatness.

The defense is over-rated (even though they held the 49ers to an average of like 17 PPG two years in a row) they lose to GB, but Dak isn’t over-rated for beating up on bums.

You know this how, and you are happy with getting to the playoffs that’s all you want winning to get to the playoffs then getting embarrassed time and again, I take my chances on a new QB the last 8 years are worse than the 2O years before because there was a good teams but the QB sucked come crunch time sad but true
