Is this "search" for a 3-4-5 WR a bit of a ploy?

I keep hearing people say Copper, but I don't even think he will make the team. Hurd and Rector look better.

We hear great things, but they arn't even good enough to be 4th and 5th? That is a bit thought provoking...

Maybe they are good enough, just not experienced enough.

I am sure Owens and Glenn's mortality hit home this past week and has prompted us to at least think about a veteran.
