Is this really a veteran offense?

I mean other than Romo and Witten most of these guys haven't been starting very long. I think we might gloss over that.

Wide receivers...

Miles Austin is out veteran? He might have a few years, but he only began starting in 2009.

Running backs?

Felix Jones, was he really a veteran running back? I think you can get away with less experience at running back, but let's not forget he has never really been the starting guy, until this season.

We have one of the least experienced offensive lines in football.

You look at Green Bay, and a lot of people are envious of their program, but just look at their receivers. Greg Jennings has been starting for 6 years, Jordy Nelson 4 years. James Jones 5 years, Drivers been in the league since 1999...

Offensive line isn't great, but it's the 13th most experienced in football...

I think we have more talent on the offensive side of the ball than any team in the nfl, we really just don't have the experience.

It's another way of saying "we have potential".

Potential does not equal production.

The Packer's key offensive players - Rogers, Jennings, Nelson, Finley, Starks etc their very young offensive line probably are equal in age, on average, to the Cowboys counterparts AND equal in experience as well.

Last year the Packers were the team to discover the hidden gems on their depth chart. This season, is is the Cowboys.

Did you see Holley's catch last week? That was sweet and shows the potential there. And he is among the least of the notables that include players like Murray, Robinson, Costa (who seems to be really improving of late) and Church who is proving himself to be the Jose Oquendo of the Cowboys defense- a jack of all trades; CB, Safety and LB.

I just think it's funny that we always refer to this as a veteran offense. I've been guilty of condemning Garrett too by saying, he's been here since 2007. Well, most of the players in this offense weren't here in 2007, and if they were, they weren't starters.
