Dallas best shot is to get the 2-seed, as that means 2 games at home. If they get the 5 seed, they’ll end up with the Niners in the divisional round and likely be sent packing for the 3rd consecutive year, even if they are the 2nd best team in the NFL. The Buffalo loss hurts extra bad because it likely means that the Niners get the 1-seed, even if they lose to Baltimore or the Rams. In fact, the Niners can rest their starters against the Rams, because if they win the next 2 games, they clinch the 1-seed.
