Read this on another site, .. is it corrrect?

In the last 25 years, 16 QBs have won the Heisman. Only 1 has won an NFL Playoff game: Tim Tebow

Not surprised about the Tebow part, but that there is only one playoff win among them.

I am surprised by the Tebow part and not by the other part. Actually, the Tebow part is not true. Vinny Testaverde won a playoff game in 1998 while with the Jets when he faced the Jags and in 1994 with the Browns against the Pats.

Heisman trophy winning QBs have not had stellar NFL careers. Roger Staubach is the exception to the rule.

I believe the statement was meant to mean, of the 16 QBs that have won the Heisman over the last 25 years, only one has won a playoff game.

Heisman Trophy + QB = DUD NFL career.

Plunkett and Staubach are the only two that won SBs

Thanks, I did misread that.

Still not surprised. Of those 16 guys, I didn't think most of them would make great NFL QBs. Obviously a few are very young and just starting their NFL careers, so we will see how they do over time. Plus you can't even count Manziel since he is still in college, so it is really only 15 guys. You could probably also take Charlie Ward off the list since he chose to play basketball. Not that I thought he would be any good in the NFL, but he didn't chose to go down that path.

And Staubach is the only one in the HoF. Plunkett had a mostly a dud career. It is amazing he was able to put together two SB winning seasons because he was so average at best the rest of his career.
