Is this team getting ready for Fournette next season?

McFadden will be a FA, Morris is most likely going to sign a 1 year deal. Leaving (pre draft) just Rod Smith I believe as RB on contract for 2017. Is this team gearing up to make a move for Fournette? Who knows, if we dont get Elliott this season, and he goes to the Eagles, or Giants, i will be livid, but if you tell me we are passing on EE for Fournette next season. Well then, i may just be on board with that.

Morris just signed a 2 year but I'll take Fournette over any other rb in this years or next years draft.

Prob need a top 10 pick for him next year and I don't think we'll be picking that high, so no I do not think we are lining up for Fournette.

He's not going to be available until next year, and we don't know what will happen in a year. You don't plan like that. You don't set your plans based a hypothetical situation that is too distant to calculate or plan for. That would be utterly stupid (no offense to your scenario).

If they were, they would be the dumbest front office ever. The draft and each season is different and unpredictable.

We would probably need to trade back and pick up future picks to use to trade if we want a chance to trade up and get him, but they're other backs next year who are really good too
