Is this the beginning of the end for Demarcus Ware?

God I sure hope not. He's the only impact player we got on defense. Hopefully he comes back healed from all that ails him and helps us in the stretch run. I also hope we're still in the race when he returns.

So you are telling me that if he retired tomorrow, he is a lock for the hall ?
If so, please give me examples of others with his numbers that are in right now.

He just passed Harvey Martin as the Cowboys all time sack leader, and Harvey can't even stiff the Hall Of Fame.

please dont post silly things.

Ware has been an All Pro 4 times (1st team each time) and is a lock for the Hall of Fame.
His sack total is the 17th best of all-time.

The Harvey Martin stuff is cute and all except the fact they didn't keep official sack totals back then. His official total is 10.
With Ware we are talking about a player with 15 more sacks than Charles Haley.

As to the rest no this isn't the end of Ware.
It is a quad strain.
He can play another 4 or 5 years easily though perhaps not here or on this current contract.
As a rotational pass rusher he can play forever just like the guys above him on the sacks list did.

You are talking about the player with the highest active avg sacks per season total in the NFL for someone at years in the league.
And he ranks top 5 all time in that metric.

Ware is very liable to come back in a couple weeks and wreak havoc. The rest will only help him.
His 4 sacks already suggest another double digit sack season.

That post is not silly, Ware has some work to do before the HoF comes calling.

So are you telling me just because Harvey Martin's sacks were not an official stat that is the reason he is not in the Hall ?
Did you ever see him play ?
The man was a beast, with almost as many sacks as Ware and he also has a SB MVP on his resume.
He also played in muliple SBs.
So as far as the Hall, Ware is not a "lock".
By the way I hope Ware makes the Hall, but if you compare his stats and such to other Hall of Famers he is not a lock.
