Is this the makings of another Dirty-Dozen? With 12 day-two picks, never say never. Rumor has it that there are many players left undrafted that Dallas has second-round grades on. So I'm really looking forward to these second-day rounds. Here's what Dallas has:

Round 3, Pick 5 (69) (From Browns)
Round 3, Pick 11 (75) (From Bills)
Round 4, Pick 1 (101) (From Lions)
Round 4, Pick 10 (110) (From Bills)
Round 4, Pick 17 (117)
Round 5, Pick 20 (156)
Round 5, Pick 30 (166) (From Titans)
Round 5, Pick 36 (172) (Compensatory selection)
Round 6, Pick 24 (197) (From Dolphins)
Round 6, Pick 35 (208) (Compensatory selection)
Round 7, Pick 1 (210) (From Lions)
Round 7, Pick 18 (227)

Can't be. Our Front Office has no idea what they are doing.

Wait a minute...I'M the Sarcastic one!

There is still a boatload of good players. I don't know why some people insist on sucking their thumb.

I'm just fed up. It's bad enough I will miss all 12 picks tomorrow, but I have to wet nurse a bunch of whining posters as well. It sticks in my craw. They'd prefer we moved up to reach for a Pat White than to play it smart and move down when our board said the value was not there at 51.

The pisser of it is the guys we have as a forum been pimping in mock drafts are still there for the taking tomorrow. If we had grabbed one of those guys today...brilliant. But getting one of them tomorrow is panic.

I wish I had said it that way instead of the way I did. Juke put me in my place. Rightly so too.

Here's the way I look at it...

With TWELVE picks, we are bound to pick at least one or two impact players. Considering that every year multiple future pro-bowlers/all-pros are picked on day two, the odds are in our favor that we get one of them.

I agree about the whining. It sounds like you're tired as well. After tomorrow, we'll all be singing the praises of the Cowboy's front office, talking about the terrific "value" that these picks will represent. I'm hopeful that we'll improve our team at a number of positions, particularly in terms of depth. If we get one or two quality O-Linemen, another D-back of Scandrick quality, one or two LB's and a speedy receiver, I'll be happy. If we get some ST mavens, I'll be ecstatic.

BTW, thanks or all your work on the draft day forum. Fantastic job.

Careful. We're not allowed to "pre-judge" Day 2. Maybe you didn't get the memo.

I missed all of the draft today....so imagine how I feel...the only good thing was that I watched my cousin play Arena football tonight..looked forward to the draft since the end of the season and everything.....I guess that I didn't miss anything as far as the Cowboys go, but I still like to watch it.

I just hope that we get some gems tomorrow and we can look back at this draft as being brilliant....doubt it, but that is really all that we can hope for at this point.

Can anyone prevent Larry Lacewell from having any contact with the Cowboys tomorrow? :D

Nice Slim Shady reference right there. Was listening to that earlier today. I miss old Eminem and not that crap he's putting out today.

More importantly, the club will pay them modest salaries , which feeds into Jerry Jones' point that this is what you want with an uncapped year loming. He's really trying to build a team for long-term success. And I like that.

Ridiculous. 2nd round draft picks aren't getting huge guaranteed $.
