Is this the year of the terrible throwback jersey?

Last week, we had the Steelers in what can only be described as what might be the worst look for a professional team since the striped Pittsburgh Pirates hats:

So naturally, not to be outdone, our friendly rivals the Eagles decided to one up the Steelers with an even worse throwback jersey. One so ugly and unappealing to the eye, opposing defenders couldn't stand the sight long enough to cover the recievers:

Not to be out-done though, of course, lil' Danny Snyder went out and hired a tailor to design an even worse uniform. He couldn't let the Eagles or Steelers win the award for worst uniform ever, so today he decides to trot out....

Can't find a picture of the complete ensemble yet, but feel free to check out Fox to see the eye-gouging beauty that Washington is trotting out there.

I'm all for throwbacks, but there's classy throwbacks (like the Chargers powder blues, the Cowboys blue stars, '80s 49ers, etc.) and then there's just plain bad. And these have been just plain bad.

I've never liked the 'Skins hotdog stand color scheme, so I guess I'm a little biased against these.

I'm assuming it's because all these teams have their 75th anniversary this year. I don't know what they were thinking when they designed some of those uniforms back in 1932

Yep. That's why they look a lot like the packers uni's. They aren't all that bad, unlike the Philthy abominations.
