We finally go defensive tackle in Round 1 (Vita Vea)? I'm going to go out on a limb and say yes. I know, I know. Russel Maryland 1991. It's a need and would likely be BPA at 19.

Double dip for defensive linebackers in the second and mid-rounds?

I doubt he falls to 19.

That size/athletic ability means someone will take him top 15 IMO.

I don't see value in Payne or Bryan @ 19, fwiw. Maybe with a trade down.

This will be more stupidity from this team if the do not take Vea if he is there at 19.

Unless we trade up, no! Last time I hoped really hard for a drop for Aaron Donald and was sadly mistaken and now I watch him dominate. Every mock I've seen has Vea going up, not down. Guess the 1% is if the QBs are so weird that it screws the top.

How much would we have to trade to get to 12...thays likely what it would take to get him

if im Dallas, less picks, more moves, 10 guys arent makeing the team and we dont have time to make every pick a project.

What i wish dallas does, take 2 picks, trade for next year, give the new HC more ammo.

Id hate to waste a draft on a lame duck coach, sadly i feel we have a few more years with Garrett and achieve nothing.

I would LOVE to draft Vea, but unfortunately he won't make it to us. The only way we get a shot it to move up and I don't think there's much chance of that happening.

What I'd like to see happen and what I think the Cowboys would do are two different things.

Unfortuantely for me, trading up is unlikely. Hell, it would be more likely that they take Payne, since he would certainly be there at 19. I'm just not convinced he's the BPA at 19.

I've been wanting a DT since they fulfilled the OL needs they neglected for so long. I'm a strong believer that the game is won in the trenches. I get that they prioritized DE, but now that that DE is less of a need, could we please go DT for once in a blue moon?

Gonna have to move up to do it and with the LB position as THIN as it is, I don't see us trading up that far to get a tackle. I could be wrong but I never am.
