Right now, the Cowboys have less than $9 million in available cap room. They've still got to try and sign Adams, Barber and Canty, not to mention their draft picks, which include two first-round picks.

Adam has us at $15.88 currently.

That does not include the Hamlin tag, but the Hamlin deal isn't over yet. You can bet that the Cowboys are going to try and get a long term deal in place and lower that cap hit to possibly in the 2.5 million dollar range. The deal may have a roster bonus in place over the next couple of years that can be converted to a signing bonus for re-structuring purposes later. Who knows, but I wouldn't count on the 4.5 million tender being the end of the story.

Yeah in the long run his 4.5 will be cut to around the 2.5 range once they get him signed long term.
