Is he too focused? Seriously.

I don't think he's having a bad year, but I don't think he's having a great year. It could be the years of playing behind a bad oline and getting crushed, or maybe he's literally just trying too hard?

Lebron admitted that in is first year in Miami, he was so motivated and focused on proving everyone wrong he let it get to him and it effected him. We could be seeing the same thing with Romo.

I don't blame much on him, he can't be making chicken salad out of chicken **** week in and week out. It just seems like in years past he was doing more with nothing. He still doesn't have much to work with.

It just seems like in the past we saw more backyard style escapes that led to great things. Now it seems like those plays are fewer and far in between because god forbid he throw an INT and it not be breaking coverage all over the news. I'm surprised when Drew Brees threw 5 INTs on Thursday they didn't bring up a graphic that tied Romo into it some how.

Hopefully this team can just click a little bit around him and we might be able to get hot at the right time.

Things may not have looked good so far, but if you look in the recent past, a few of the Super Bowl winners looked very suspect during various parts of their regular season.

I think Romo is just tired of having to tell everybody where to line up and who to block and what route to run, ect.........

Of course it doesnt help when your head coach is Madden Jr. and calls 62 plays out of shotgun.

Now that you mention it I think he should start to care less.

Tony should start smoking doobies, hang out with Charlie Sheen, or start up a local dog fighting ring.

Championship.

Tony was GREAT when he would wear his hat backwards and have that smile on his face. When was the last time he said that the game was fun.
He used to say it after every game ,win or lose.

Now I believe everyone told him he had to wear the baseball cap the right way because "He was the QB of the Dallas Cowboys".

B.S.

Too much pressure. Doesn't look like he enjoys the game like he used too.
Been a long time since we've seen the smile on the sidelines.

Too bad.:(

This. Romo is probably just sick of this team and it shows. He doesn't even wear Cowboys gear in interviews anymore. He wears NFL shield gear now.

On a serious note though it has to be terribly frustrating being Tony Romo.

Sudden fame, crazy expectations, spotlight of Dallas, etc.

Considering he was an UDFA QB he may be one of the best all-time outside of Kurt Warner. But everyone keeps comparing him to former first round picks like Eli, Manning 1 & 2, Brees, etc.

Other #1 guys like Rivers, Ryan, Cutler, Vick, Smith etc that I think he's clearly better than.

It's all about expectations and his went from, alright kid just don't screw it up to - all right kid the whole team is on your back, drop back 62 times and win this thing Madden style.

Factor in his defense always fading late and never forcing any turnovers, never having a run game, guys constantly making mental errors, the drops, coaching errors, organizational issues, etc - it's amazing he hasn't had a breakdown yet.

I've always said I'd love to be a fly on the wall between a private conversation between Romo and Witten about the state of the Cowboys franchise, Garrett, Jerry, etc.

You can just see the look on their faces now, almost like they're completely sick of the same old same old.
