They Also said they think they would Draft a OLB Named.......Clint Sintim who they Think could take Ellis's spot really fast. they think he could come in and start fast.

havent heard anything about it, then again DMN spends their time being the National Enquirer instead of a newspaper so who knows...

Sintim is an interesting possibility for us, but he isnt going to beat out Spencer for the starting job. He's really a one dimensional player, but that one dimension is rishing the passer from the OLB spot. Somebody like Sintim is a possibility though if Ellis is traded or cut, and I do think he'll be traded on or right before draft day.

I would live it if we brought in Sintim, i don't think he would beat out spencer but with time he could.

Maclin and Bey are the only names on that list I'm familiar with

Interesting that he thinks the guy coming in at OLB would beat out Ellis. Ellis isn't the person they'd have to beat out, Spencer is. Spencer, if he's healthy, will start this season.

It's interesting that this person believes we're going to look to move up and get Britt or Heyward Bey at WR.

We would truely have to have idiots running our team for the playrs we are targeting, so specifically, to get out in the news over a month before the draft.

Perhaps this is this years version of the eraser board, a smoke screen so we can get who we really want.

good point thecount, i think its a little smoke screen, but with the positions the cowboys are looking at, wr, og, safety and outside linebacker

No doubt.
While they may have a draft board together they won't be committed to any one guy.

Jerry made it clear when he signed Brookings/Sensabaugh they felt they did so well last year by letting the draft come to them. I do think Sintim makes a ton of sense with them wanting to jettison Ellis but again you go in to the draft and see what happens. If they can trade Ellis on draft day having Sintim in the fold that makes a good deal of sense. At least as far as taking a gamble relate. Obviously Sintim isn't proven.

I'd actually like to see then Add Derrick Brooks if Ellis is to be traded. Brooks may not be ideal but he is a great team guy and he is not going to make mistakes.

Derrick Brooks would have to play behind Brooking at the wilb spot. Not going to happen.

I would sh** if we took Maclin. I think he's the best WR in the draft. I like Crabtree a lot. But Maclin just seems to do more with less (special teams). He's a stud. We would not have to draft a WR for a long time if we snagged Maclin.

Maclin would be our version of the Steeler's Santonio Holmes, who not only returns on special teams, but is becoming one of the better WR's in the game.

But I'm not going to get my hopes up on Maclin. Jerry Jones is going to have to be a master at wheeling and dealing to move up and get him. Not likely in my opinion.

I have a huge man crush on kenny Brit. He's big fast and has good hands. Although maybe I should not like him because in the last few years every W/R that I have liked has been busts..lol

i would rather have duke robinson og or herman johnson or a nose tackle like ron brace, i think the cowboys need a big mean nasty offensive linemen or defensive linemen

aka erik williams or larry allen or russell maryland or leon lett

the wide receiver i think the cowboys need is johnny knox, you should be able to get him in the 4th to 5th round, then get sammie hill in 4th to 5th round, with jimmy williams linbacker who ran a 4.49 in 40. Do that and i think the cowboys will be ok along with getting a young QB to groom.

I'd use him at both OLB and ILB. The guy isn't big obviously but he always played smart football and could cover guys. He is a good nickel type guy in my mind. Behind Spencer he'd be a solid drop coverage guy and can play the run on the edge as he did all those years in Tampa.

Probably not a great system fit obviously, but the kind of team first guy we can use and a guy who can figure out how to make plays when he is on the field.

Bey had an incredible combine. Doubt he is there in the 2nd round?

Couldn't Sintim just slide inside if we drafted him?

Frank Cooney of NFLDraftScout seems to think he'll have to make the move eventually, says he's not fluid at all moving backwards

We won't sniff any of those WR's unless we move into the first. There's a chance that Britt will fall into the early second, but he won't be there long.

I interned as a strength coach at Rutgers this past year and Kenny has everything it takes to be an impact player at the NFL level. He's an extremely hard worker and is a very physical football player. The only questions are his route running and hands. Other than that he has a real chance to be great, although I can also see him as a possession WR, something Dallas already has in Roy Williams, Patrick Crayton and Sam Hurd.
