Is Tyler Biadasz becoming our Jason Kelce?

I haven’t heard a single thing about him in camp besides him shoving Sam Williams.

That likely means he’s the same Biadasz, a decent center that might fringe his way to a pro bowl. Hopefully he gets a little smarter and a little stronger each year

I think your summation may be a little strong calling him the "glue that holds the line together". That title goes the Zach Martin without question. Maybe the fighting was a result of Parsons winning too often over him. But maybe he is pushing himself a little to become an OL leader. Or he could be hyped up on Monster or Red Bulls.

He got his Pro Bowl as an alternate for Jason Kelce.

He ain't no Travis Frederick yet. I'm pullin for him tho.
The center is the glue.

Is Tyler Biadasz becoming our Jason Kelce? I live in the Philly market and Kelce is a revered warrior for the Iggles. Everybody loves him in the area. Biadasz was involved in both skirmishes in the last Oxnard practice and fans are saying that he is protecting his teammates with fire and aggression. He made the Pro Bowl last year and he has quietly become a leader on this offensive line. Is this all hype or is he becoming the glue that holds the line together?

Nice player, but comparing him or projecting him to reach Kelce's level of play is a huge reach. When Kelce's career is over, he will be on every top 10 OC of all-time list.

You undermining the importance of the C position.
No, no, I'm not.

When Zach Martin walked into the locker room after his holdout the rest of the team broke out into a cheer and mobbed him.

Tyler Biadasz didn't get that type of reception at camp.

So the "glue" mentioned by the OP is not a functional glue, it is a function of the emotional characteristics displaying the immense respect that the rest of the team has for Zach Martin. That respect holds the OL together as a unit, raising their level of play simply knowing he is the preeminent guard in the National Football League and he is one of them.

I'm sorry you are undermining the importance of such a bond on the OL unit.

Not throwin shade at Biadasz nor the center's role on the OL. I have nothing more to say on this subject.

The glue don't have to be the best player.

I think that you are vastly overrating the talents of Mr. Kelce. HIs career, while having a resurgence of late, was lackluster until 2017 when they won the Super Bowl and dressed in a mummer outfit at the parade. Since then, he's been a god in Philly. Prior to that, I can remember him getting beat numerous times while playing the Cowboys. My post refers to the intangible more than the talent anyway.

He's very underrated on this line
no he did not look very well his first two seasons didn't have a lot of junk in the trunk easily got pushed back he was solid at snapping the football and sometimes decent in the run game but he has improved now so he was never underrated he was rated correctly and now people are taking notice that he's improved so now he's gonna be rated as a very improved player... He was on the bubble I'm probably not getting his second contract just like Connor Williams just like Connor McGovern all solid players but just not good enough but now from what I've seen he is now doing better... I watched the guy improve each year so now he's rated exactly where he needs to be rated he's good and he probably is earned a second contract...

However why do fans come in here talking about is he Kelsey why can't we just not try to pin a name on him that would be hard to live up to let's just say the man's much improved and we've all noticed I just want him to be the best TylerB ,he can be...

No. He is becoming a really good player who provides a strong anchor in the middle, but Kelce is a great player who will likely end up in the Hall of Fame.

Not even close. I'm hoping he can at least be Mark Stepnoski...but even that's a stretch. The fighting part was probably just defending himself from Micah...not something he created. So i think that's a bit overblown as him being more aggressive. Unfortunately, he came right after Frederick from the same school so the comparisons are inevitable. And he sadly doesn't live up to that level. But he is all Dallas has at the moment.

I'd settle for that.

Frederick was better than Kelce before he got hit with G-B syndrome.
Frederick was an all-world center before his illness. He was better than most centers in the league after he returned after fighting his illness.

Perhaps Biadasz can be 'Diet Frederick' but Biadasz should always aspire to play as well as Frederick even if he never attains the same level of performance. He can become a reliable and serviceable center if he can accomplish that much.
