I know we eat Jerry's cheese every year but guys, the feeling is different this year, at least for me. For the first time in years, this team seems to have the leadership to survive playoff challenges.

It felt different each year for the last 30 years. Don't get your hopes up this early. Wait for a few games into the regular season.

No disrespect to Dak, and not that it even matters. Can you see him taking over the team leadership role in a sense where guys go to him due to his age and success in the league. This isn't a bash Dak thread!!!! I think they'll be both great leading this team. I know the guys on defense are going to love being lead by him, please give your input!!

NOPE Not even defensive leader That's going to go to Quinnn Williams Prescott is the leader of this team the entire team But if you just want to call it the offense that's fine he's the most respected guy on the team if he's not respected in here it doesn't matter..

I guarantee one of the reasons Von Miller wanted to be here was because the Cowboys actually have a starting quarterback He's not going to pick a team with no chance the only chance his team has is because of Prescott whether you want to believe it or not whether you want to lay it at the feet of Romo or Prescott we got to keep going over this over and over they do need a better defense they do need better special teams they do need better tackles but we don't need a better quarterback..

That's as short as this one gets you're so far off base no you don't walk in and become a leader just because you've had a great career and he's had a great career.. He definitely will help the defense he will guide the pass rushers on this team the young guys are gonna respect him for sure but no he did not step into some leadership role..

There should only be two captains but if you want to put three that's fine offense is Prescott defense is Quinn Williams special teams you just might as well give it to Brandon Aubrey. Goodwin is gone or it would have been his..

Do they have to have a team leader.
They can have several players that can fit into being a focal point.

Defense, can be Q. Williams, and Miller as the savvy vet. And from OTA's and mini camp, Gary was taking that role, or was reported he was.

So no reason all 3 can't be a leader in different ways.

We know on offense it is Dak. But don't forget Booker could be for the OL. And Lamb / Pickens duo can be right there as well.
