I think this was more serious than advertised but he is supposed to be back.Just shows everybody is a play away from retirement or disability.
Are you for real?

Burmafrd, lately your posts seem unusually angry and lacking of civility. Normally I enjoy your posts.
What's going on?
getting tired of BS from posters spreading nothing but rumors. Trying to say what happened to Ware is what has happened to Martin with NOTHING TO SUPPORT IT. I am getting tired of stupidity
Here is the good news. Season starts in 4 days at which point we can stop speculating and just absorb whatever the reality really is.
Hang in there.

Here's the sub-discussion:I don't think that is what the person was saying. I thought they were just saying there is more to it than a simple stinger. Most stingers are healed in a few days. At least they were when I played.

burm can correct me but I think he was asking for proof supporting anyone connected with the Cowboys conceived Martin's injury as serious enough to warrant possible retirement or disability if re-aggravated. In other words, much MUCH more than a simple stinger. Your reply to his request was:show me some EVIDENCE for your claim. Otherwise you are full of it.
My opinion but I don't think your thoughts on the matter match burm's. Again I could be wrong. An article this week said that he was wearing a neck roll for the first time since high school. That says they are concerned about it.

In my purely unscientific and unconfirmable opinion, Martin will be completely fine.
It was a stinger. Guys get those and play through them all the time, and they rarely take more than a few weeks to fully heal even when a player is playing/practicing through it. They said way back when that if it were mid-season he probably wouldn't have missed any time, so I assume he's 100% now and ready to go.
