Both great athletes.
You couldn’t draw up players so similar but yet so different.
Simmons is the physical hard hitting lb that’s great in coverage that you won’t really use in pass rush.
Paraons is the physical hard hitting lb you want playing downhill and don’t want in coverage

Parsons is the better prospect IMO.

Simmons was a freak athlete but didn’t really have a position so his NFL was a little unclear. I still think he can be good but I think Parsons is better coming out.

I had been thinking Simmons vs. JOK both are LB/Safety hybrids.

Simmons was a better NFL prospect. Coverage is more important/rare in a linebacker and there rally aren’t many equivalents. I feel like there’s a few Micah Parsons minus the rare speed. You’d take both in a heartbeat but I’d draft Simmons at 10 if available without pause. With Parsons I’d hesitant, field calls, and want to know the other options.
