This guy is nothing but potential and upside. Polish him up and he could be a player.

Ranked 68th by who??

If he was really 68th, he'd be long gone, we're in the 110s.

Irons has some big issues in man to man

I think we may be targeting Tarell Brown

My God...if you have to ask that question....

68th ranked player in the Draft..

David Irons, CB.

At this point in the draft - why draft players that you don't think are any better than someone already on your team?
Reaching for need?

Same goes for WR.

What WR still available do you think would be better than Crayton, Hurd, or Miles?

On the second day... target players that actually have a chance of making the squad...
that's what i say.

What?? ranked there by YOU!?!?!

There are hundreds of rankings systems. One ranking has no more effect than the others, unless you have one from mister jones himself. Buy a clue.

Stanbacks best 60m time in track was 6.89 seconds or an average of .114 meters per second.
60m = 65.6 yards
1m = 1.09 yards
40 yards = 3.6576m

Now this ISN'T an indicator of his actual 40 time, but when Stanback ran his 60m at 6.89 he covered 40 yards of it in 4.2 seconds. That doesn't trasnalte to other players 40 times because it ignores his starting speed, which would have made it slower. But it does give an indication of his open field speed. The kid is fast.

He's on the Ticket right now and he sounds VERY bright and together. Another high-character player and person.

Also says he's never run as slow as a 4.55 in his life. He missed nationals in the 60m by .02.

Threw that from the 25 yard line and completed at about the 5. That's about 70 yards.

That was impressive.

With that and from looking at his track times I am completely sold on this pick.

Beat me to it........sounds like he has a great attitude. I still think he was a reach, but seems like he will come in and compete as a Slash player.

as a WR right?

Yes --his hair is to long for a quarterback--- which makes as much sense as the rest of the comments from the beer drinking -I played football in Jr High, and
I know better then a whole staff of people (-who by the way OWN the team) --
and I am going to complain until the first time the guy make a play and then I will be for him --until he messes up and then I will get on here and tell you how right and good I was and am:bang2: :banghead:

This is when we need BP in these late rounds. We just drafted an injured inexperienced WR that runs a little under 4.6.

There are some good players on the board that would fill some needs who have the potential of starting for us in the future. Jerry wants to demonstrate his football knowledge - and he did.

jerry got his baseball prospect guy. nice

I doubt it.... My initial reaction was it was a reach, reminded me of taking Quincy in round 2:ralph:

Well, it is round 4, so Skyler Green is what came to my mind.

your a moron! i was asking if he meant WR because there has been a lot of talk on this thread about him playing WR instead of QB and he seems to have more potential to be a good receiver than QB IMO. oh and why dont you show me where i complained about the pick cause i fail to see where i complained about the pick...

Total knee-jerk idiotic comments abound.

Just got finished w/ norm on the ticket.

"Never ran a 4.55 in my life, I'm a 4.3-4.4 guy"
"Ran a 10.48 100 meters 6.08 sixty indoors"--note this is a short step off NCAA championship leve and relates to middle 4.3s wake up folks...

This is a slash/ WR/ returner with outstanding speed.
