Isn't it great to feel the adrenalin rush that comes with KNOWING the Cowboys are FOR REAL?
This is the first time since 2014 that I thought the Cowboys had found something that was more than just hype. They had hired Scott Linehan as new offensive coordinator and Jerry had forced Jason Garrett to take a backseat and allow Linehan to run the offense.
The result was DeMarco Murray ripping through defenses, ending the pass happy ways of Jason Garrett and Tony Romo.
The Cowboys lost narrowly to Green Bay, in the playoffs when Demarco Murray fumbled on what would have been a game sealing touchdown run- instead sealing Demarco's fate when contract talks came about the next season.
Still, Dez Bryant's catch at the 1 yard line- overturned when MIKE MCCARTHY challenged the call-almost pulled the game out.
This year it's Cooper Rush and the Cowboys defense working together with Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard that seems to have that "feel" of being "for real".
No longer are offensive drives ending regularly on "three-and-outs".
It's awesome- and even the haters should admit that!

The Cowboys are 30th in first downs, 29th in 3rd down conversions, and have scored seven offensive touchdowns, your feels notwithstanding.

Defense has flat out carried this team, which is different. But they're gonna need some help at some point.

We’re only five games into the season. Fans were saying the same thing last year at this time when we were riding high at 6-1. We’ll find out if we’re for real in December and January. Things could come crashing down on Sunday night if we don’t start generating more offense and points.

The Cowboys lost to Green Bay again when Byron Jones didn’t get deep enough to knock the ball away. And that was Prescott under center. But he doesn’t get the same benefit of the doubt does he

Another Dak hate thread from one of the haters...

Uhhh, you didn't get an adrenaline rush and know the Cowboys were for real when Dak and Zeke led the Cowboys to an 11 game win streak in 2016, plus almost beat the Packers during the divisional round of the playoffs?

Eagles averaging 27 points a game. Cowboys 17. We need one of our field goals to be a touchdown. We can beat the Eagles.

Ya, that was great. But that happened six years ago. Been crickets since.

Garrett’s ways weren’t “pass happy.”

They were stale and predictable.

He owes Romo virtually his entire career.

Jerry had to set Romo up with a cushy gig to shut his mouth over it.

Don’t wanna believe that? Then don’t, but I do.

As a fan of defense this decades long wait for the return of Doomsday has been painful,,, a good defense is so much fun to watch, especially when it's your team!

We can definitely beat the Eagles if drives stop bogging down and we’re not having to rely so heavily on our defense and kicker.
