Isn't it peculiar, isn't it amazing, .. doesn't it say a lot about all of us that no matter what the topic is here on the Zone, .. whether it's Dez, Romo, Witten, Jerry, Wade, Garrett, T.O., Barber, Choice, Rob Ryan, Parcells, the O-line, officials, opponents, ... no matter what is being discussed we get every opinion from one extreme to the other and everything in between.



Just this week, some hating on Romo, some even have getting rid of him in their sig line, ... while others are defending him like he is their brother.

My wife is a huge Cowboys fan, but has never been on this forum. She asks me each day, "what are they saying on the board about Romo, about the game, etc.?"

I always laugh and tell her, .. "everything from one extreme to the other."

I just find it interesting, .. it's a big ol' goofy world.

It's not true actually. There are a dozen regular posters who post fairly often pretty middle of the road opinions including high profiles like WG and Hos (well except for a pathological hatred of kickers). But they get drowned out in the sea of nincompoops and goofballs with agendas.

It is true.

If you read the part I wrote about, "everything in between", that includes posters like you mention, .. it's true.

Though I would say Hos is on the "homer end", and not middle of the road.

It takes all kinds,,, there are some days I just can't bear to hear the caller's whacked out opinions on Sirius NFL, but it's not far off from the daily postings that can be found here. I think some of the perceived wackiness is just a failure to communicate though. That and the fact that we have all age groups, education levels, and walks of life represented here.

its called talking and sharing opinions, or would you rather we all agree and one person posts an opinion and we all nod our agreement?

we should be lucky to have a big forum that we all enjoy in one way or another.

I think the answer to your question is in my OP where I say it's amazing, that I find it interesting, it makes me laugh and when I say, .. gotta love the Zone.

makes things interesting. as i get from reading all sorts of posts with different opinions than my own, from hostiles history posts, to someones stop being a homer post, to the reality based on fantasy posts, all the way back to I cant believe even i posted that tripe post.

im still happy for this place and the mods that put in countless work for it. we might take it for granted, but thats what we do in the long run. tho a lot of posters always thanking and appreciating for the ones who dont. But i gather if you are here, its for the same reason as the rest of us, we love this team one way or another and being here beats talking about it on another board.

also other notable posters, Adam for his cap updates, and Yakuza for his meaningless posts and SDogo for his inside tips and the females who give this place a better touch.
