You poach him off another team he’s been here weeks what perfect timing then 2 season ending games where no one is making the playoffs on either sideline .

This man can be a viable option to back up Williams next season if either returns , you need someone who is a threat can gain positive yards not lose ground when Williams is on the sideline .

A number of successful playoff bound teams have more then one capable RB and Williams has not looked like the same runner he was earlier , man needs help . Why wait until pre season or camp to look at other runners ?

I liked him coming out, but we're his fourth team now, and there's probably a good reason for that.

I'm still mad they waited so long to get Mafah practicing. Schotty said Phil will get a lot of the full speed reps but there will only be like six of those reps on such a short week. Playing on another Thursday this late in the year when the players are so beat up is really stupid by the NFL.

But anyway, it sounded like next week will be when we see a rookie back or two.

Right, they always do the same thing no matter the Coach, so it proves the Joneses are really coaching in a way.

Abanikanda, Mafah, and Blue should be playing.

Fairweather and Holden should be playing also, so they can have some film to look at themselves to build for next season. Giving these type of guys snaps is how you build momentum in to the offseason, not playing the guys who played all year.

But if I were making an all too early projection for next year's depth chart, I put him behind (in no particular order) Davis, Blue and Mafah (and maybe a free agent) as the backup right now. So getting him carries isn't exactly high on my list of players I want to see over the next couple of weeks

This is the only reason I'm interested in the last 2 games. Hopefully, he becomes part of the 1-2 punch at running back. Dallas needs that, almost as bad as they need Jerry to leave.
